Prosthetic Transfemoral Socket Design Symposium
Scott and Lisa have begun planning a national symposium focused on transfemoral socket design. The symposium will be a CAPO sponsored event for prosthetists from across Canada. The purpose will be to have clinicians share information about how they are currently treating their transfemoral (above-knee) patients.
Franklin- Northern Alberta Amputee Program (NAAP) sponsors Active Amputee Clinics
NAAP is a non- profit group established to enhance rehabilitation knowledge and care of people with amputation. NAAP has introduced a Active Amputee Clinic were amputees can try out different sports such as skiing, kayaking and rock climbing, in a safe and friendly environment.
